Is Apple an One Project Only Company?

Now that the iPhone Party’s dust is set and that its future is guaranteed, Apple should turn its head to the AppleTV, a project that isn’t getting Apple’s attention recently, the AppleTV has a tremendous chance of success if added the required features.

The small white box that will revolutionate the way we see the internet videos in our television sets has been forgotten completely between Apple’s dilemma.

Apple is the major digital music, TV programs and Movies provider with iTunes and that’s the main reason for AppleTV to lacks DVR features found in almost all TV enhancers. If AppleTV record, pause and broadcast live TV this will overlap the main reason for iTunes, to sell TV programs and Movies cutting down the iTunes revenue by more than 30%.

Apple hasn’t update or upgrade as quick as needed their other profitable products, it seems that they are always putting all their energy in just one project and if they upgrade a the iPod and at the same time upgrade the AppleTV or the Macpro, for example, you won’t find clear information about the AppleTV or the Macpro upgrade everywhere, they just send a small PR communication.

Maybe this kind of behavior is a PR strategy and they only focus on products that people are willing to buy instantly or is the demand is higher enough. The upgrade for Apple products are always planned for a specific month in order to generate more buzz.
