Vacuums may not set the typical gadgetophile’s heart afire, but one of the super-vacs from Dyson could easily change their minds. My own Dyson Slim has me vacuuming at least twice as often as I used to (twice a year now, at least).

The Dyson DC07 All Floor works equally well on carpets and bare floors, with “cyclone” technology for extra-powerful suction. It’s great for unhealthy asthmatic geeks like me too - because you don’t need to change bags or filters - it takes one touch to empty the bin and even with the HEPA filtration, all you need to do is wash the filter, no replacements necessary.
