HarperCollins meets the Apple Tablet Rumor while Lala will be on the Cloud
WSJ is reporting that HarperCollins and Apple are having raw negotiations for inclusion of tablet-based books in the rumored Apple iSlate device to be shown to the public this January 27th in a special media presentation.
HarperCollins + Apple iSlate could hurt Amazon in the long run and catapult Apple into a new and profitable business model.
In the other hand, Michael Robertson posted a logical and almost feasible article about Apple’s real intentions with Lala business and how it could launch a Cloud-based streaming service+storage that will challenged Imeen, Pandora and Spotify.
The new Cloud-based iTunes is a evolutionary step and will provide streaming music to millions of itunes users worldwide without license restrictions from music groups, but what is really more interesting is that this service can be accessed from within a browser and any location.
