There is always something to write about Apple and the iPhone, the near-launch iTablet or the malfunctions at the AppStore approval, a growing pain for developers and the bad publicity it generates for Apple.

The AppStore approval process is a joke, a sour joke and Apple should take care of the whole system, shut it down and relaunch it, this is something that will make developers jump ships and while the AppStore is a cash cow some of those hardcore develpers are ending unsatisfied with how Apple poorly manages the approval and the updates for any already approved application.

It seems that there isn’t any logical rule when approving applications, someday you may see a quasi-porno app or worse, the Hitler’s Mein Kampf approved while a satirical-political one rejected, a total unprofessional and poorly orchestrated process that is totally flawed and not working system without any real guidelines.

But don’t confuse the AppStore with the AppStore Approval process, what is really hurting Apple and will hurt a lot more if this child process isn’t totally renew and re-built from the ground up, Apple can’t act as if nothing happened, the Approval process is NOT WORKING. PERIOD.

What can be done?
Apple will always be the hand that picks this and that application, but it’s showing some cracks in the whole process and one way to really help accelerate the approval is to submit those applications to specialized websites and lets the users evaluate it, then Apple should take notice and in a matter of days this application already approved by the public can be found at the AppStore.

While Apple doesn’t want to mix moral and business, there is a fragile line and sometimes is almost necessary to learn to survive with everything around us, political, racial issues, pornography, religion and so on, because this is how We the humans have survived for hundred of years, Apple can’t change our habits and its strong moral hand won’t prohibit iPhone users to load whatever they want on their devices.

If I were the one in charge at the AppStore, I will be launching or letting others launch a porno (18+) AppStore, there is nothing wrong with that and at the same time, I will streamline those child guidelines at the Approval Process, all applications are welcomed in their respective categories, let the people to review them, recommend them and qualify them, in the end, those are the one that buy them, not Apple.

In the end, the AppStore could be the next iPhone‘s killer, it’s time to FIX IT.
