After years of burrying ICQ with its negligent business strategy, Times-Warner is now seeking for a buyer of the instant messaging service pioneer ICQ, an ill-fated service that could have changed the social behavior of million of users worldwide, but that was overshadowed by other small startups (Facebook, Twitter…).

ICQ only needed a dedicated marketing and visionary team that take it to the next level, but things didn’t work out well and now Times-Warner is seeking to leverage the ICQ potentials onto the future buyer or buyers.
