Palm answer to the USB Implementing Group: Stay out of the way, We want iTunes

Palm is really looking stupid with their blatant ripoff or almost criminal intentions to use Apple‘s iTunes as their official syncing application and they will do whatever it takes to get the Palm Pre synchronization works with iTunes, even if they have to break Apple‘s Vendor ID in order to fake the Pre as an iPod, something that got the USB Implementing Group attentions and asked Palm for a quick response, but the response took a little longer and came out with a new update (Palm Pre 1.2.1) that again sync the Pre using iTunes, something that was terminated in the last iTunes update.
So now the ball is in the USB Implementing Group and it will be interesting to see what can Palm get from the group, notice that the Group sided with Apple on the abusive behavior of Palm’s hack implementation, so this time the letter from the USB-Group won’t be so polite, instead they will look for a termination of Palm childish behavior.
I really believe that Palm is looking for an Apple lawsuit, maybe to profit from those dusty patents, that Apple could be using ilegally, but this is something that could put them in a more difficult situation because if so, Apple can afford to have a long long trial while Palm bank account not.
Palm is doing this as a provocation to Apple, they don’t want any iTunes synchronization at all, they want Apple to get mad and as things go, Apple is not taking it.
Go Palm, Go while you can, because this is something that make me run away from any Palm product, poor and unprofessional, this company should close.
It’s unbelievable that even with Microsoft 90+% of marketshare in the OS segment, Palm decided to hack the iTunes from Apple with a mere 9% of the market, Palm should go the Windows Media Player way, because
this whole situation is making them look stupid and totally foolish for its part and forcing a legal situation with Apple won’t help their bank account.
Remember how the Elevation Partner’s chief was telling the media that Palm has iPhones for breakfast, it turned out to be totally different, being Palm the one is being eaten alive with less than 800,000 smartphone sold (not just Pre).
It is a POOOOOOR SITUATION and ULTRA POOOOOOOR decision from Palm, just lets iTunes alone and move to other media player or please check the Blackberry Desktop for mac, this is how Palm should do its thing,
the right way.
