Nokia is doing what they believe is right and have a real business sense, Nokia is suing Apple for some wireless patents infringement, something that is plausible because Nokia holds the rights for those patents and they need to protect them, this is business as usual, nothing to see here more than a mere tactic for a better and faster negotiation.

But, in the wake of the circunstances, Nokia is buying an All Inclusive ticket for a bigger fight with Apple, Apple is also known for its happy-trigger when We talk about litigations, so if Nokia believes that even if they get what they deserve from Apple everything will be ok, then Nokia is doomed, Apple has grown a garden of patents and you may bet that as of now Apple’s lawyers are evaluating how to send their own gift to Nokia, maybe not today or tomorrow, but someday and this could mean the sweeter one for Nokia, because if Apple painted Nokia as an enemy, then everything won’t be so sweet anymore.

Apple is taking Nokia’s market by storm and this is something Nokia is awared of and could only mean more and more trouble for Nokia, a company that hasn’t properly sponded to the iPhone invasion and has seen its market domination shrinked.

Nokia is losing the market and this action against Apple got people thinking about how desperated they are, while this may not be the case, it seems the opposite and its desperation and frustration about the iPhone faster adoption could make them fall from the top without even knowing and there is something that Nokia hasn’t taken into consideration and is how passionated is Steve Jobs about Apple and how he managed to trashed Dell market value, which is now almost 7 times lower than Apple (nasdaq: Apple-Dell market value).

Maybe desperation is Nokia’s last attempt to derail the iPhone and maybe this could mean their potential mistake and I am not stripping Nokia out of their rights, they should protect them.
