Today little rumor is about Microsoft buying Electronic Arts, an aggresive move that will put pressure on other gaming platforms, the iPod Touch included. Microsoft will do whatever it takes to water down the Apple party and investing or buying EA could easily help on this matter while cut the air to other platforms where EA published its games.

Apple has/is lazy about investing in games, it poorly support the development of native games for the mac and a hasn’t done anything to correct this situation, even when We all see how Microsoft bought Bungie and transform it into the cash cow that made the Xbox a hit.

Now Microsoft is out to do the same with EA, buying EA and getting a ton of exclusive titles for the Xbox and letting out of the party those who were sooo lazy to see a benefit in doing so, I have written more than 5 posts begging Apple to buy AE or any other game developer, but those begs ended up in the Microsoft‘s side.

Later today Microsoft denied any intention to buy Electronic Arts, but if true this could be another WAKE UP CALL FOR APPLE. CONTENT IS KING….
