New Sony BRAVIA ZX5 Series unveiled – ultra slim and wireless ready

Sony is unveiling the new member of its Bravia line, the ZX5, an ultra slim LED HDTV that features a new Bravia Engine, an enhanced 4X “Flow Motion 240 pieces” technology to provide a smoother transition between frames, up to 24 frames (60 frames per second or 24 frames) and VOD (Video on Deman) directly from the remote control.
The Bravia ZX5 comes in 46″ and 52″ and provides Full HD (1,920 × vertical 1080 horizontal), it comes with:
HDMI inputs: 4 pin (rear: 3 pin, Front: 1 pin)
Video input: 2 pin (rear: 1 terminal, Front: 1 pin)
D5 video input: 2 pin (rear: 2 pin)
S video input terminals: Terminal 1 (Rear: 1 pin)
PC input (D-sub15 pin): 1 pin (back: 1 pin)
PC audio input jack (stereo mini): 1 terminal (back: 1 pin)
Optical digital audio output (AAC / PCM / AC3 output): Pin 1 (Rear: 1 pin)
Audio output: 1 pin (rear: 1 pin)
Phone terminal (internal modem) up to 2400bps: 1 terminal (back: 1 pin)
LAN terminal (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX): 1 terminal (back: 1 pin)
USB port: 1 pin (front: 1 pin)
The price for the Bravia ZX5 is around: 46″ (550,000 Yen) or US5,900 and for the 52″ (650,000 Yen) or US$6,979 and will be available in Japan starting in November.
