Samsung announced that European consumers will be able to view online YouTube content via Samsung Blu-ray Disc players. By allowing consumers to enjoy their digital content on their Blu-ray Disc player and their TV, Samsung demonstrates its commitment to enhance the connectivity of its Home Theater products as consumers immerse themselves in the experience.

With the Samsung Blu-ray Disc player consumers can access all their content on a single device from multimedia content like movies, music, photos to self created or downloadable contents, the player opens up the living room to a whole new world of entertainment. Samsung’s advanced technology brings more than just a Blu-ray and DVD player – consumers can now enjoy on-line streaming, PC contents and USB downloading through Samsung’s Blu-ray Disc player. With the new service, available from 3rd September, consumers can also enjoy video clips from YouTube on their TV screen. The YouTube service features a variety of video clips, including the most popular or highly rated videos and allows for video search through a mobile phone-like on-screen key pad.
