Google CEO could be seen as a Trojan Horse at Apple

Apple has a high ranking Board of Members, with executives from the smarter companies around, a famous ex-president, Al Gore and Eric Schmidt the CEO the giant search engine company called Google, but with Google movement into Apple’s turf, the permanency of Schmidt in Apple’s Board could give Apple a set of legal headaches that Jobs’ health won’t be able to handle.
Google is doing Mobile business with is Mobile OS called Android, which is a real rival to Apple’s iPhone OS, Google is in the internet browser segment with the last year introduction of its own browser called Gogle Chrome and this week we all knew Google’s intention to launch a new computer OS with the announcement of the new Chrome OS.
So, if Apple doesn’t remove Schmidt from the Board this situation could become a real problem, shareholder may seen Eric Schmidt as a Trojan Horse inside Apple, because he must conflict with his interests on Google over Apple’s ones or maybe critical information could be disclosed to the board and end up at Google’s hand, something that I believe won’t happen, but that guarantee more than hundreds of lawsuits from shareholders.
I don’t see the need to have Eric Schmidt at Apple when in many ways Google and Apple are competing and both are trying to have a profit from their competition, if they were doing research and not profit were the reason for their works then Schmidt could be allowed to stay, but this situation really looks unproffesional and unethical.
Imaging, members of the boards from different pharmaceutical companies working at their rivals and promising not to interfere in any form… impossible.

Apple and Google are attacking Microsoft from the upper and lower ends of the computer market. Hence, they are not, yet, in competition. In fact, they need to find ways to cooperate with each other. Apple is not against Open Source; it is merely trying to find ways of selling its hardware to take advantage of open source.
People who need a high amount of computation, or attractive graphics, will never be satisfied with a simple OS like Chrome. Those who want the ease of use and flexibility which Apple provides will never be tempted by Chrome. This means that the upper end of the consumer market which Apple sells into. This is also where most of the money is.
The computer market is changing due to technology. The old desktop paradigm will be ending in a few years as every peripheral gets its own computer-on-a-chip and communicates wirelessly.
Linux, via Chrome, will be taking over the low end computer markets which Apple does not sell into. This means that about a third of Microsoft’s market share which now runs cash registers, displays and acts as front ends to mainframes, or servers on the web, will be replaced with inexpensive Linux devises. These devises won’t be fast or smart, but they can be used for dedicated and repetitive functions.
