An interdisciplinary jury made up of engineers and technical journalists chose the MX W1 as the best product in its category this year on the basis of its engineering qualities, design, function and user value. The earphone system already won the coveted EISA Award presented by the European Imaging and Sound Association in August this year.

The Innovations Design and Engineering Awards (CES Innovations Awards) have been presented by the Consumer Electronics Association since 1976. A jury consisting of industrial designers, engineers and technical journalists evaluates the products on the basis of their engineering qualities, design, function and user value. The best products in a total of 34 categories are chosen and will be put on display in the Innovations Showcase during the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas in January 2009.
