Likewise Software Joins HP Developer & Solution Partner Program

Likewise Software, the leader in delivering open source audit and authentication for mixed networks, announced today its membership in the HP Developer and Solution Partner Program (DSPP). HP DSPP is a worldwide program for independent software vendors, software developers, system integrators and consultants.
As a member of this program, Likewise will work closely with HP to provide customers with high-quality and cost-effective technology solutions to meet the demanding business requirements that face today’s organizations. Membership in HP DSPP provides access to technical resources that benefit Likewise customers. Likewise also has access to sales and marketing assistance from HP as provided by the program.
“The strong growth of Likewise Open and Likewise Enterprise in large organizations makes HP a natural partner for our company,” said Barry Crist, CEO of Likewise Software. “Likewise 5.0 not only eclipses other approaches technically, but our Open Source business model allows us to deliver our software to our partners and customers in a highly cost-effective fashion.”
Likewise software helps Microsoft, Apple, Linux and Unix systems work together in mixed networks by administering authentication and access policies for all users from a centralized location. The company’s software includes a number of compliance features for regulatory requirements and standards such as PCI and Sarbanes Oxley, as well as industry-leading flexibility for identity mapping, and support for Microsoft Active Directory-based NIS (Network Information System) maps.
“ISVs now have access to HP’s worldwide community through the DSPP, along with tools to help them create competitive advantages and grow their businesses,” said Kristy Ward, worldwide marketing and business development manager, Developer and Solution Partner Program, HP. “With access to the solutions, services and expertise through the DSPP, Likewise Software can easily develop and market offerings that work with HP’s business technology portfolio.”
