Apple is sending invitation to the press for the next 14th Event and promising some notebook related product refresh or introduction, but I don’t really believe Apple needs a dramatic departure from actual macbooks design, instead I believe Apple a Tablet or a Powerbook Duo like product that you can hook on a desktop base and when recharged take the screen out and use it as a touch based portable…

There is a price reduction rumor over the net and if it is true this is a wiser move, economy is forcing people to reconsider their investment and while mac users enjoy a deep pocket the downturn in our finance system is hitting all us the same way.

Apple is the one that will validate the Tablet as a usable product providing new features, better battery life and touchscreen technology to perfect it, this product could be well posision among graphic designers and yound people looking for the next trends in mobile gadget.

Apple doesn’t have a subnotebook and this could be the time, now every major pc manufacturer is selling a small versions of their laptops packed with excellent features for mobility and I don’t think Apple will miss this big opportunity and considering that there is only one major rival, the Asus Eee PC is the one to beat and while the Eee PC has taken the market by storm, this is something Apple can turn on its favor pairing it with the iPhone or iPod in order to take a marketing advantage. Let’s hope Apple understands our need for a subnotebook with good features and a affordable price.
