I think they'll remove Firewire from the new iMacs
Consumer products line equals no Firewire
Pro products line equals Firewire
The only Products in the line are MacPro and MacBookPro

For me Firewire is like having a baby, help he/she grow strong, healthy, get a nice education and then tell him/her that let go away when he/she is 8 years old… it is abandonment, creating a frustration without any benefit…

“and of course, we can see Firewire 400 replaced by the faster Firewire 800 or removed completely.”
Firewire 800 is there now as well as 400 on my 24″ iMac. 400 might go, but a second 800 probably isn't going to be added.
If you try and write about/predict Apple's moves, please at least be familiar with the equipment they have now.

If AppleInsider is reporting it, and is your main source, why are you not linking to the article?
