Adobe poor dedication to the mac could really force Apple to add new programming features to Quicktime or to Keynote, if those features rival Flash on the iPhone or make Keynote a more iPhone oriented application then the future of Flash Mobile for the iPhone is in real problems, Apple has been tweaking Keynote with new interativity features that in next upgrades could easily be transform to meet the iPhone needs.

You can port your Keynote presentations to the iPod in a Quicktime movie, but there isn’t a scripting language that helps you control any aspect of it, Keynote only needs to evolve to this point and could really be a rival to Flash.

Other candidate to replace Flash supremacy on Mac OS X is Quicktime, Apple only needs to adds more Applescript commands that help to create interactivity in Quicktime and because Quicktime nature, the final product could be multiplatform, Windows, Mac and the Net.

Remember that when Adobe literally abandoned the Mac video market Apple created Final Cut and when innovation in the photography space was slow, Apple launched Aperture, so Apple is watching Adobe‘s moves and believe me, Apple is just waiting for Adobe‘s mac abandonment to hit it harder than with Final Cut.
