Packard Bell launched the 12-inch EasyNote BG48, the first of three new Limited Edition notebooks for 2008.

Packard Bell took the market by storm in 2007 by introducing a Limited Edition collection of
three fashionable white notebooks that appealed strongly to “tech chic” buyers. The collection
was designed by the Packard Bell Design Studio as an expression of the company’s belief that
style and design are just as important as performance and features. The success was immediate
and has led Packard Bell to reiterate the experience in 2008, with three new Limited Edition
notebooks: the 12-inch EasyNote BG48, the 13-inch EasyNote RS66 and the 17-inch EasyNote
ST86.

Featuring a sensual design and compact 12-inch screen, the EasyNote BG48 is a sweet choice
for users who like their notebooks slim and stylish. Weighing a mere 1.6kg, it’s a highly mobile
treat, from its glossy white and aluminium colour scheme to its chocolate edge trim. Attention
has been paid to the smallest details, from the luminous capacitive buttons to the light-ring
around the white touch pad.

The Packard Bell software offer includes Norton Internet Security™, Carbonite to back up

The Packard Bell EasyNote BG48 notebook will be available in European retail outlets from
November, starting at an estimated street price of €599. Availability will vary according to
