Official: Microsoft to validate the I am the PC status with new ads
Microsoft is launching the second part of their new advertising campaign and this new chapter has more common things to the mac than to Windows, it is as always, based on something Apple has done, this is the pc part of the Apple famous I am a Mac, I am a PC, where Apple makes fun of the most well known bugs in today’s PCs.
With this new campaign and the inclusion of the I am a PC, Microsoft is validating what Apple has been telling to the people for months and gives Apple a bigger chance to make even more fun of Windows and now that all those funny situation are corroborated by Microsoft, they will be even funnier
Microsoft is planning to include in their new campaign some Hollywood Celebrities that will tell us their experience using Windows and how their lives have changed, this help me remember when Pepsi used Celebrities in their ads to attract more fans to their drink, in the end there was and there is only one Coke.
It is a desperate move from Microsoft to fight Apple with Apple’s ads and try to come clean, Apple, in the other hand, has nothing to do, just keep pumping their already famous ad campaign that has been hurting Microsoft and its executives where it hurts.
True must be told, the print ads for the new campaing look interesting and could end up being well invested the $300 million dollars, but what really catched our eyes is the reason for Microsoft to validate Apple’s ads.
