iBikeConsole brings you wireless ipod music while biking

Changing songs or adjusting the volume on your iPod Nano* while cycling is a hassle, not to mention a safety hazard. Now, cyclists who are music enthusiasts can play and change tunes wirelessly, without jeopardizing safety or affecting cycling performance. With just the push of a button on a remote control unit, riders can also monitor their speed and distance traveled -all displayed on the high quality Nano screen!

The iBikeConsole is a “Made for iPod” accessory that mounts securely to a bike’s stem or handlebar. The iBikeConsole acts like a docking station for an iPod Nano while also providing a safe and weatherproof housing for the player. In addition, it smartly combines a remote control system with a cycle computer. Cyclists can conveniently monitor their trip-distance and speed, while listening to their favorite tunes.

The main functions of the iPod Nano and cycle computer are controlled wirelessly through a pair of patented key pads which can be easily mounted on the bike’s grips or handlebar and operated with the thumbs. These silicon-covered key pads have large control buttons that can be activated even with gloves on.

The main iBike unit draws power from the Nano so no extra battery is required. The device is designed to work with all generations of iPod Nano. To enhance safety, optional speakers are provided. The speakers deliver high quality music without requiring the user to wear ear buds which block outside noises.
