Hop-On to launch its new disposable phone on MLB All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium
Hop-on announced today that it would launch its new Disposable Phone during the 79th Midsummer Classic at Yankee Stadium on July 11-15 with a full page, four-color advertisement in both the National League and American League Championship Series Souvenir Programs and in the Official
2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Souvenir Program.
MLB will conduct a special pre-game ceremony prior to the 79th MLB All-Star Game that will feature the largest gathering of baseball stars in history. More than 40 baseball greats from the Hall of Fame including Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, Bob Feller, Whitey Ford, Willie Mays, Cal Ripkin Jr., and Frank Robinson are scheduled to be celebrated for their accomplishments.
The 79th MLB All-Star Game and All-Star Summer are expected to be record breaking events for MLB, with expectations to reach the highest attendance figure in the event’s history at over 57,000. The All-Star Game will be televised nationally by FOX Sports, and televised around the world
by Major League Baseball International. The 79th All-Star Game will be available via the MLB International world feed in 229 countries/territories and in 13 different languages. Last year the 2007 MLB All-Star game was watched by over 35 million viewers worldwide.
The HOP1800, the world’s First Disposable and Recyclable Phone will be distributed to the media, baseball players and the public at the 2008 MLB All- Star week events. It will be the official launch of the HOP1800 Series phones.
