Pystar has been playing with fire offering pcs loaded with Mac OS X, something we thought was impossible and out of any possibility.

The entire mac community has been waiting for a strong Apple respond to Psystar, but nothing has been spotted and Psystar is selling itself as “The Smart Alternative to an Apple“, in direct competetion with Apple and using Apple‘s tools.

Sooner than later Apple will have to respond, because Psytar is now offering Openserv, a rack based server loaded with Mac OS X Server (10 clients pack) for US$500 and the unlimited clients for US$1,025.

It is a good thing to have a cheaper Mac OS X alternative, but you can bet all your money that this lawsuit is just a storm waiting to happen and shareholders will force Apple to do so, while Apple profits selling copy of Mac OS X we can’t forget that Apple is a computer maker and their software business is complementary and now Psystar selling cheaper boxes loaded with their tools could make some damages to Apple bank account. In the past, Apple cut clone licensees because of that.
