In another step towards expanding its social community of mobile game players, Cellufun has released a Facebook application that fully integrates their mobile game portal into the popular social network on both the web and the phone. The application will allow Facebook users to play all the titles currently found in the mobile community, while sharing their bragging rights with their friends. Cellufun virtual world environment and portfolio of casual and community games, which ranges from board and casino games to the award-winning Call Of The Pharaoh, has been growing by two games a month and now includes over 40 titles.

Cellufun’s application offers users the first mobile, fully multiplayer game experience on Facebook. Additionally, Cellufun is the only mobile game network that allows users to take quality games from the PC Facebook experience to the mobile phone and vice versa. All of the current social aspects of Cellufun’s games including scoreboards, leader recognition and multi-player gaming will be integrated into the Facebook application, allowing game status to be updated on Facebook, even if game play was completed on the mobile phone.

“The Cellufun community leverages social networking for its games, so Facebook offers a perfect platform for extending the community outward,” said Steve Dacek, Cellufun’s COO and Co-Founder. “We are incredibly excited about reaching a whole new audience via this platform”.

Cellufun’s integration with Facebook will take advantage of the friend lists and infamous Friend Feeds the social network offers to its users. Friends of Cellufun users playing through the Facebook app will receive invitations to the Cellufun Facebook application and game status notifications – including game moves and wins – will be updated on users’ Friend Feeds.

The Cellufun Facebook application will include all of the WAP games available on Cellufun’s mobile Web portal. Downloadable games will also be available but, as they are played through an emulator, game play will not take place within the Facebook network. However, all downloadable games are connected through the Cellufun server, so game status updates will be noted on Facebook.

Cellufun will be adding two new games to their mobile game portal and subsequently, their Facebook application, monthly. New games debuting in May will include Mobile Farming & Mining and additional MobilePets. Cellufun will be notifying its current one million registered users of the new Cellufun Facebook application through a variety of methods, including their “What’s New?” site entry and blog entries by popular players.
